The short answer by group size
Use the V-Class for up to 6 passengers and a Sprinter for 7 to 19. Both are in the Assure fleet, and the table shows the luggage each carries.
| Group | Vehicle | Large suitcases |
|---|---|---|
| 1 to 6 | Mercedes-Benz V-Class | about 4 |
| 7 to 13 | 13-seat Mercedes-Benz Sprinter | about 6 |
| 14 to 19 | 19-seat Mercedes-Benz Sprinter | about 3 |

Both vans are in the Assure fleet, not the partner network. Seat counts exclude the chauffeur. The luggage figures are Assure’s planning numbers, so send your exact bags. Our full seats and luggage chart lists every vehicle.
Seats and layouts: V-Class facing seats vs Sprinter rows
The V-Class has a car-like cabin with sliding doors on both sides. Mercedes-Benz Dubai lists it for up to 8 seats, in lengths from 4.90 m to 5.37 m, and an optional rear layout with recline and massage seats. Assure plans it for 6 so every passenger has room.

The Sprinter seats in rows facing forward, with a high roof so most adults stand in the aisle. It has a sliding side door and roof-mounted rear air conditioning. The Assure Sprinters are 13-seat and 19-seat layouts, and the seat count is an Assure figure.
Luggage with every seat in use
At 6 passengers, the V-Class takes about 4 large suitcases and 2 cabin bags. Mercedes-Benz gives its luggage space as 610 L to 5,010 L depending on length and seats.
The Sprinters show the trade-off. With 13 seats fitted, there is room behind them for about 6 large cases. The 19-seat layout fills it with seats and holds about 3. A group of 15 with a case each needs the 19-seat Sprinter plus a second vehicle for bags. See group arrivals at Dubai airport for how that is planned.
Standard Sprinter or VIP Sprinter conversion?
Assure lists the standard 13-seat and 19-seat passenger Sprinters. We do not list a VIP interior conversion in our own fleet. If your group asks for one, ask on WhatsApp whether a partner can supply it, subject to availability, and get the interior confirmed in writing. For smaller groups who want a premium cabin, the V-Class is the usual answer.
Comfort on longer trips to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Hatta
Abu Dhabi is about 139 km from Downtown Dubai. Al Ain and Hatta are longer, and Hatta’s road climbs towards the Hajar mountains. For 6 or fewer, the V-Class feels like a car on that distance. For 8 or more, the Sprinter’s aisle lets people move at a stop. For Hatta, see the private tours options.
Can a Sprinter use hotel driveways and mall car parks?
Hotel entrances are normally fine for a van. The Sprinter’s high roof is the limit at covered car parks. We have not confirmed height limits for any Dubai mall, so do not assume. For a mall, we agree the drop-off point and a waiting area with you before the day. The V-Class is easier at tight entrances.
Which one for weddings, golf groups and corporate shuttles?
- Wedding family cars: the V-Class for the couple’s close family. For guest runs, see our wedding guest shuttle guide.
- Golf groups: four golfers with clubs and a case each carry 8 large items. That needs a 13-seat Sprinter, checked against the load.
- Corporate shuttles: a Sprinter loop between hotel and venue, set up through our corporate service.
If neither fits, a 7-seater chauffeur car may. For a bigger group, read what size bus you need. Neither van has a wheelchair ramp: see the wheelchair accessible transport guide.
