Where your chauffeur meets you at Terminal 1, 2 or 3
Dubai International has three passenger terminals, and your airline decides which one you land at. Your chauffeur stands in the arrivals hall of that terminal, past passport control, baggage claim and customs, holding a board with your name. VIP guests are welcomed there personally by the chauffeur.

Dubai Airports has no pick-up lane at arrivals: private cars collect from the car park at each terminal. After the welcome, your chauffeur walks you and your bags to the car parked there. Terminal 2 has its own road access from Al Twar Road and Rashidiya, so tell us early if your flight changes terminal. Terminal 3 arrivals also has DXB Greet and Go, a QR-code pickup service that Dubai Airports opened in July 2025 for licensed hotels, limousine companies and tour operators. An office on Airport Road
The Assure office is in the Al Nisf Building on Dubai Airport Road in Al Garhoud, on the creek side of DXB. WhatsApp and phone are answered 24/7, so a flight change at 3 am still reaches someone who can move your pickup.

Drop-offs for departing flights
The chauffeur collects you from your hotel, home or office and stops in the drop-off area on the departures level of your terminal. Dubai Airports advises arriving 3 hours before your flight. Add the drive time from the table above: from Business Bay, leave about 3 hours 30 minutes before take-off, and earlier at rush hour.

Is Uber or taxi cheaper from Dubai Airport?
It changes through the day. Taxis at the DXB ranks run on the RTA meter with a fixed airport starting fare, while Uber, Careem and Bolt prices move with demand. Compare both in the apps when you land. A pre-booked transfer is different again: the car and the price are agreed before your flight leaves.
How much is a taxi from the airport in Dubai?
The meter decides. RTA sets an airport starting fare that is higher than a street pickup, then adds a charge per kilometre, waiting time and any Salik tolls, plus a fee for trips into Sharjah. For scale, Downtown Dubai is about 18 km from DXB by road and Dubai Marina about 37 km.
Can I request a pick-up service from Dubai Airport?

In the arrivals hall of the terminal you land at, after passport control, baggage claim and customs. Emirates uses Terminal 3, flydubai is based at Terminal 2 and most other international airlines use Terminal 1.
