Who a family package suits
Parents with a baby or toddler, families with school-age children, and three-generation groups where grandparents want fewer stairs and shorter waits. One private vehicle keeps everyone together, holds the pushchair and does not depend on taxi availability when the children are tired.

The vehicle
Our vans seat 6 passengers, which suits two adults and up to four children with luggage. A 13-seat Mercedes Sprinter from our own fleet carries bigger parties. Larger minibuses are available through our partner network, subject to availability. See the van and group transport page for sizes and the group packages for bigger parties.
Child seats
Child seats are available on request. We confirm stock for your dates, so send each child’s age and weight when you enquire. UAE traffic rules list child-seat offences for under 4s and front-seat offences for children under 10 or under 145 cm, per the government table listed under sources. Traffic law is revised from time to time, so confirm the current rule before you travel.
Kid-friendly days
- Miracle Garden: flat paths and flowers, about 4 hours door to door, in season only.
- Global Village: an evening outing, with the car collecting you at a set time.
- Yas Island: Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld and Yas Waterworld, with the car waiting on the island.
- Dhow dinner cruise: calm water and a seated dinner.
- Desert safari: age and health limits vary by operator, so ask before booking.
Pace and heat
Plan outdoor sights early or after sunset in summer, and use the middle of the day for the hotel pool, a mall or an indoor attraction. The car stays on call, so a tired toddler means going back to the hotel, not a long wait for transport. The Dubai with kids guide gives ideas by age, and the Dubai itinerary guide shows how to space days.

Questions and answers
What is the best age to visit Dubai with kids?
Any age works if the pace suits them. Babies and toddlers cope best with short outings, indoor breaks and a car that waits. School-age children enjoy a theme park or a dhow cruise. The hotter months, June to September, are easier with morning and evening plans and an indoor middle of the day.
Do you provide child seats?
On request, and we confirm availability per booking, so tell us each child's age and weight with your dates. UAE traffic rules require a child seat under 4 years, and children under 10 or under 145 cm should not sit in the front. Our child car seats guide has more.
Are desert safaris safe for children?
Operators set their own age and health limits, and they differ by activity. Dune driving is bumpy, so it is a poor fit for babies, pregnant women and anyone with back or neck problems. We check the limits for your safari before booking and can suggest a gentler camp evening.
Can a family of six or more travel in one vehicle?
Yes. Assure vans such as the Mercedes V-Class seat 6. Larger families use a 13-seat Mercedes Sprinter from our fleet or a bigger minibus through our partner network, subject to availability. Tell us the number of bags as well as people.
Do you sell flights?
No. Assure does not sell flights, so book those with an airline or your travel agent. We take over at the airport with your flight number, run the days in the UAE and drive you back for departure.
