Four ways to book a car for an event

Option How it runs Suits
Hotel to venue A drop-off before the doors or halls open, and a pickup at a time you set One show day, a concert or a race day
Hourly standby The car stays near the venue and comes to the drop-off point when you message on WhatsApp Exhibitors with off-site meetings, hosts whose guests leave at different times
Group shuttles Vans, Sprinters or coaches on fixed runs between hotels and the venue Stand teams, delegations, hosted buyers
VIP cars A first class sedan, or a Rolls-Royce available through our partner network, subject to availability, with the chauffeur waiting Speakers, senior guests, a box at the races

An airport leg fits into any of them. Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with your name on a board, loads the bags and drives to your hotel or straight to registration. For a car that stays with you all day, book a car with driver by the hour.

Event venues: drop-off, parking and Metro

This is what each venue or organiser publishes, checked on 17 October 2026. Big shows sometimes replace the venue’s normal plan, so the event’s own visitor page has the final word.

Venue Main events Car drop-off Parking Metro

Dubai World Trade Centre

DWTC has its own Red Line station and direct access from Sheikh Zayed Road. During grand events, Parkin charges AED 25 an hour from 08:00 to 22:00 on about 200 street spaces around the halls. The RTA has also warned of congestion near DWTC during major events, and Gulf News put the peaks at 08:00 to 12:00 and 16:00 to 20:00.

Those peaks cover most opening and closing times, so allow extra time for the morning drop-off and the evening pickup. Our guide to DWTC parking and drop-off maps the car parks and entrances.

Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City

The Dubai Exhibition Centre sits in Dubai South, about 21 km by road from Al Maktoum International. Expo 2020 station is a short walk from the halls, and shuttles link the car parks to the Arrivals Plaza and the North and South Halls.

A show can run its own plan. GITEX Global sends private cars to the South Drop-Off and taxis to a separate Transportation Hub. Our Expo City parking zones guide covers both layouts.

ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi

On normal show days ADNEC runs car parks A, B, D and E, with taxis at the Aloft hotel entrance. ADIPEC is different: on-site visitor parking closes, and drivers are sent to Park and Ride sites across the city. Our ADNEC parking and drop-off guide explains both set-ups.

Drive times to each venue

Each figure below is the free-flow time for the car, averaged over both directions on OSRM (OpenStreetMap data) and checked on 17 October 2026. On a show or race day, allow for slow traffic in the last few kilometres before the venue gates.

Venue From Downtown Dubai From Dubai International (DXB) From Dubai Marina
Dubai World Trade Centre about 5 km, 8 min about 16 km, 26 min about 24 km, 25 min
Coca-Cola Arena about 4 km, 6 min about 15 km, 20 min about 20 km, 20 min
Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium about 13 km, 13 min about 9 km, 20 min about 31 km, 27 min
Meydan Racecourse about 11 km, 20 min 17 to 24 km by direction, 30 to 45 min about 25 km, 30 min
Jumeirah Golf Estates about 27 km, 30 min 37 to 43 km by direction, 40 to 55 min about 16 km, 20 min
Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City about 39 km, 37 min about 52 km, 56 min about 22 km, 24 min
Dubai Airshow Site, DWC about 49 km, 50 min about 61 km, 1 h 10 min about 32 km, 40 min
Yas Marina Circuit about 114 km, 1 h 15 min about 130 km, 1 h 35 min about 94 km, 1 h
ADNEC Centre about 132 km, 1 h 25 min about 143 km, 1 h 35 min about 113 km, 1 h 10 min

A daily return from Downtown Dubai to ADNEC is about 264 km. For a 4-day show such as ADIPEC, a car for each day means nobody in your team drives the E11 twice a day.

Busy weeks to book early

Three stretches of dates stack big events within days of each other, so cars, Sprinters and coaches are worth booking early. The dates come from each organiser’s site, checked on 17 October 2026.

  • November 2026. ADIPEC at ADNEC from 2 to 5 November, the DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates from 12 to 15 November, and Big 5 Global at DWTC from 23 to 26 November.
  • December 2026. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix runs at Yas Marina Circuit from 4 to 6 December. GITEX Global follows the next day: the Summit at DWTC on 7 December, then the Expo at Expo City from 8 to 11 December.
  • March 2027. Gulfood runs from 15 to 19 March across DWTC and the Dubai Exhibition Centre. The Dubai World Cup at Meydan follows on 27 March.

The calendar at the top of this page lists every event with its usual month and, once announced, its next edition. Each next-edition date comes from the organiser’s site, checked on 17 October 2026.

Cars and seats for event days

Car Passengers Where it comes from
Mercedes-Benz S-Class or BMW 7 Series 3 Assure fleet
Lexus ES 300h 3 Assure fleet
GMC Yukon or Cadillac Escalade 6 Assure fleet
Mercedes-Benz V-Class, Kia Carnival or Hyundai Staria 6 Assure fleet

Toyota Coaster 22 Available through our partner network, subject to availability
Coach 35 or 50 Available through our partner network, subject to availability
Rolls-Royce Ghost or Phantom 3 Available through our partner network, subject to availability

Luggage changes the choice on an airport day. The 13-seat Sprinter takes 6 large cases with every seat in use, while the 19-seat version takes 3. A group landing at DXB with suitcases and sample boxes may need the smaller Sprinter plus a second vehicle.

Moving a stand team or delegation

  1. List every person with their hotel, flight and the days they attend.
  2. Group people by hotel and start time, and give each group one vehicle.
  3. Fix a morning run, an evening return after the halls close, and one standby car for meetings and airport runs.
  4. Set up one WhatsApp group per vehicle with the driver and the group lead.

Build-up and breakdown days run earlier and later than the show itself, so list them separately. For a coach-sized group, see coach and bus hire. Companies that exhibit every year can run all of it through a corporate account.

Where Assure can take bookings

Assure is RTA licensed in Dubai and has been in business for 10+ years. We drive to every venue in the tables above from Dubai, including ADNEC and Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

Trips that start and end inside Abu Dhabi, such as a Zayed International pickup to ADNEC, may need a partner licensed there. Ask us to confirm for your route when you send the dates.

Questions and answers

Where do I park at Dubai World Trade Centre?

DWTC lists 6 paid and 2 free car parks with 7,530 spaces, plus valet and EV charging bays, reached from Sheikh Zayed Road. During grand events, Parkin charges AED 25 an hour from 08:00 to 22:00 on about 200 street spaces around the venue. The other options are World Trade Centre Metro station on the Red Line, or a chauffeur drop-off at the entrance nearest your hall.

How do I get to Expo City for an exhibition?

The Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City has its own Metro stop, Expo 2020 station on the Red Line, a short walk from the halls. Taxis and cars drop off on Boulevard 2020 Street. The venue FAQ says parking is free for all events, in Parking A, B and C. By road it is about 39 km from Downtown Dubai and 21 km from Al Maktoum International (DWC).

Can the chauffeur wait while I am at the event?

Yes, if you book hourly standby. The driver stays near the venue with the car and comes to the drop-off point when you message on WhatsApp. Coca-Cola Arena, for example, has a drop-off-only zone at entrances A, B and C and no valet, so the car waits off the kerb. Bags, samples or a change of clothes can stay in the boot.

Can you move a whole stand team or delegation?

Yes. The Assure fleet has 6-seat Mercedes V-Class vans and Mercedes Sprinters with 13 or 19 seats. A 22-seat Toyota Coaster and 35 or 50 seat coaches are available through our partner network, subject to availability. Plan by hotel and start time: one vehicle per hotel group, a morning run, an evening return, and one standby car for meetings.

Do you drive to Abu Dhabi events from Dubai?

Yes. ADNEC Centre is about 132 km from Downtown Dubai and Yas Marina Circuit about 114 km, roughly 1 hour 25 minutes and 1 hour 15 minutes without traffic. Darb tolls apply in Abu Dhabi and Salik in Dubai. Trips that start and end inside Abu Dhabi, such as a Zayed International pickup to ADNEC, are confirmed case by case.

How far ahead should I book for a big event week?

As soon as your dates and hotel are fixed, and earlier for coaches, which are available through our partner network, subject to availability. November and December 2026 are the tightest: ADIPEC, the DP World Tour Championship and Big 5 Global in November, then the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from 4 to 6 December, straight into GITEX Global from 7 to 11 December.

What do I need to send to book event transport?

The event and venue, the days you attend, your hotel or pickup address, and the number of passengers and bags. Add the gate or hall on your ticket, the time you want to arrive and when you expect to leave. Quotes come back on WhatsApp, and the team answers on WhatsApp and phone 24/7.
