Van rental in Dubai with driver

Every van on this page comes with its driver, for a single airport run or for a whole day. It is the size between a sedan and a minibus: one vehicle, one driver and one pickup time for a family, a golf four or a small team.

A GMC Yukon or Cadillac Escalade also seats 6, but each is listed for 3 large suitcases. Once a group of 4 to 7 brings more than that, the van wins. In the table, the Vito Tourer, HiAce, Transit, Coaster and coaches are partner vehicles, booked subject to availability.

Assure sets up each of the four for 6 passengers, though the makers offer the V-Class, Carnival and Staria with 7 or more seats. Six passengers leave room behind the last row for suitcases, a pram or golf bags. The bag figures are estimates for a full load, so send your exact list of cases.

Which van fits 7 people and luggage?

The suitcases decide it.

• 7 people, up to 3 large cases: the partner Vito Tourer.
• 7 people, a large case each: two vans. A V-Class carries 4 people and 4 cases, and a Carnival the other 3 people and 3 cases.
• 7 people with suitcases and golf bags: up to 14 large items, more than two vans hold. A 13-seat Mercedes-Benz Sprinter seats all 7; send the full bag list and the quote sets out how the luggage travels.

Family arrivals with luggage

The Dubai Airports FAQ says there is no pick-up area at Arrivals and sends collecting drivers to the car park at each terminal. The van stays there while your driver stands in the arrivals hall holding a name board, then helps with the bags on the way out. VIP guests are welcomed personally.

• Palm Jumeirah is about 37 km from DXB by road, around 40 to 45 minutes without traffic. Downtown Dubai is about 18 km.
• Prams, travel cots and child seats you bring count as large items, so list them with the suitcases.
• Add the flight number when you book the airport pickup at Dubai International. The driver follows the real landing time.

Child seats and luggage rules

Two RTA and Dubai Police rules decide where children sit. Under 4s need a child seat matched to their weight and height, and nobody aged 10 or under, or below 145 cm, travels up front. In a van, that puts every child in the second or third row.

• Each child seat uses one of the 6 passenger seats. Four adults and 2 toddlers in seats fill a V-Class.
• Give each child’s age and weight with your request. The quote confirms which seats are fitted, and whether your own seat goes in.
• The quote covers the passengers and bags you list. If 6 cases turn up for a van listed for 3, the extra bags need a second car.

Golf groups

A golf bag takes the space of a large suitcase. That makes the V-Class the van for 4 golfers: 4 bags in the back and 2 seats to spare.

• Jumeirah Golf Estates: the Earth Course is about 16 km from Dubai Marina, roughly 20 to 25 minutes without traffic. It hosts the DP World Tour Championship from 12 to 15 November 2026.
• Emirates Golf Club: in Emirates Hills, beside Dubai Marina, so a Marina hotel puts both courses close.
• Golfers flying in: clubs plus suitcases for 4 people make 8 large items. Book two V-Class vans, which take 4 large items each.

Shopping days and private sightseeing

• Mall to mall: Dubai Mall to Mall of the Emirates is about 15 km, around 15 to 20 minutes without traffic. The van waits at each mall, so bags from the first stop stay in the back while you shop at the next.
• The old town: the Gold Souk in Deira is about 13 km from Dubai Mall, a short add-on to a mall day.
• A planned day: for sightseeing with set stops and timings, look at our private tours.

Delegation convoys and wedding guests

• Delegations: several vans run together, for example from DXB to Dubai World Trade Centre, about 20 km by road. Send the passenger list for each van, the order the vans should arrive in and one contact on the ground.
• Wedding guests: vans carry close family between the hotel, the ceremony and the reception, while the couple ride in the wedding car. Plan both together through wedding car hire.
