Which private terminals does the chauffeur meet?
| Airport | FBO | Where it is | Hours listed by the FBO |
|---|---|---|---|

| Al Maktoum International (DWC) | DC Aviation Al-Futtaim | FBO based at DWC | Ask the FBO |

At DWC, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub at Dubai South groups the VIP Terminal and the FBOs. Jetex lists FBO customs and immigration at both DWC and Al Bateen, so you clear formalities with the FBO and meet your chauffeur when you walk out landside. For airline arrivals at the same airport, see our page on commercial flights into DWC. Al Bateen is described in the Al Bateen Executive Airport guide.

Can the chauffeur meet me at the FBO?
Yes, on the landside. Your chauffeur waits at the FBO lounge or at the terminal’s landside exit, whichever the FBO allows on the day. The FBO’s team handles everything airside, from the aircraft door to its building, and brings your bags through with you. The full sequence is in private jet arrival process in the UAE.
VIP guests are welcomed personally by the chauffeur. For a confidential arrival, the name board can show a company name, initials or nothing at all, and we only need the lead passenger’s name, not the full passenger list. Tell us which board you want when you book.
What we need from you
- The airport and the FBO handling your flight.
- The tail number, the date and the local arrival time.
- The lead passenger’s name, and how many passengers and bags.
- The drop-off address, and any stops on the way.
- The car you want, or the seats and bags you need so we can suggest one.
Your chauffeur gets the tail number and FBO details. If your slot moves, send the new time on WhatsApp and the pickup moves with it.
Airside and landside: who does what
The apron is airside. Moving you between the aircraft and the lounge is the FBO’s job, in its own vehicles: Jetex at DWC lists an airside Rolls-Royce transfer. Your chauffeur stays landside and loads the bags into the boot at the kerb.
Security passes for the apron are issued under the airport’s rules, not ours. If you want the car at the aircraft steps, ask your FBO whether that is possible for your flight and what pass the car and driver would need. Until the FBO confirms it, your chauffeur waits landside.

Questions and answers
Can the chauffeur meet me at the FBO?
Yes, on the landside of the FBO. Your chauffeur waits at the lounge or the terminal exit, as the FBO allows, and the FBO team handles everything between the aircraft and the building. Send us the FBO name and tail number, and the chauffeur confirms the exact meeting point with you on WhatsApp before you land.
How far is Al Bateen from Yas Island or Dubai?
From the Al Bateen terminal, Yas Island is about 25 km and 23 minutes without traffic, and Saadiyat about 21 km. Dubai Marina is about 113 km, roughly 1 hour 10 minutes, and Downtown Dubai about 132 km, around 1 hour 25 minutes. Figures come from OSRM routing on OpenStreetMap, checked in October 2026.
Which FBOs operate at DWC?
Business aviation at Al Maktoum International sits in the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub at Dubai South, which has a VIP Terminal and several FBOs. They include Jetex, inside the VIP Terminal, DC Aviation Al-Futtaim and ExecuJet. Your flight's handling agent is the FBO to name when you book.
What details do you need for a private jet pickup?
The airport, the FBO, the tail number, the date and the local arrival time. Add the lead passenger's name, how many passengers and bags, the drop-off address and the car you want. If the slot or arrival time changes, send the update on WhatsApp and the chauffeur adjusts to the new landing time.
Can the car drive up to the aircraft?
That is for the FBO and the airport to decide, not us. The apron is airside, and the FBO moves you between the aircraft and its building. At Jetex DWC that can be its own Rolls-Royce airside car. If you want a car at the steps, ask your FBO first, and we follow its answer.
Which cars can I book for a private terminal pickup?
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon and Mercedes-Benz V-Class are Assure fleet. The Rolls-Royce Phantom, Ghost and Cullinan, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class and the Bentley Flying Spur are available through our partner network, subject to availability. A large party can split between a sedan and a van.
Is Al Bateen the same as Abu Dhabi's main airport?
No. Al Bateen Executive Airport (AZI) is on Abu Dhabi island in Al Muntazah, and Abu Dhabi Airports runs it for private and business jets. Commercial flights use Zayed International (AUH), about 36 km and 33 minutes away by road. Private flights can use either, so check with your operator which one your aircraft is going to.
