Quick answer: oversized items per vehicle

Assure counts a golf bag in a travel cover, a folded pram, a folded wheelchair and a boxed bike as one large suitcase each. The numbers below are planning figures with every passenger seat in use, not measured loads.
| Vehicle | Passengers | Large items | Golf use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7 Series, Lexus ES 300h | 3 | 2 | One golfer, bag and case |
| GMC Yukon | 6 | 3 | Two golfers, third row folded |
| Mercedes-Benz V-Class | 6 | 4 | Two to three golfers |
| Mercedes Sprinter, 13 seats | 13 | about 6 | A group, with a second car for kit |
With fewer passengers, a row folds and the load rises. Mercedes-Benz gives the V-Class 610 to 5,010 L of space depending on length and seat layout, which is why the layout matters more than the badge. The capacity chart lists every car, and the vans page shows the models.
Golf trips to Dubai and Abu Dhabi courses

Golfers usually fly in with a bag in its cover plus a suitcase. Sedans run out of room fast.
- Emirates Golf Club and Jumeirah Golf Estates are in Dubai. Give the chauffeur the clubhouse and tee time, and the pickup is planned back from it.
- Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club is in Dubai, on the creek side of the city.
- Yas Links is on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, about 114 km from DXB (roughly 1 h 15) and close to Zayed International Airport. The Abu Dhabi airport transfers page lists routes.
Tournament weeks, such as the DP World Tour Championship and the Dubai Desert Classic, put pressure on the same roads. We have not sourced current dates here, so check the organisers. For event-day routes, see getting to Dubai events compared.
Prams and travel cots
A folded stroller is one large item. A travel cot in its bag is another. A family of four with a pram, a cot and 4 cases carries 6 large items, which is a V-Class job or a V-Class plus a luggage car. The family transfer guide covers child seats too.
Folding and powered wheelchairs
A folded manual chair is one large item and fits a boot. A powered chair is heavy and may not fold, so give its weight and dimensions. For passengers who stay seated, read the wheelchair-accessible transport guide.
Bikes and sports kit

Box or bag the bike. Wheels off, pedals off, handlebars turned. Give length, width and depth. Surfboards, ski bags and hockey kit follow the same rule: one large item each, with length stated. Emirates lets one checked bag measure up to 203 cm in total dimensions, so a bag that long is legal on the plane but may need a van.
Where do you collect oversized bags at DXB?
Dubai Airports says Arrivals has no pick-up area, so your chauffeur waits inside the hall with a name board. Collect your oversized items from the special baggage area your airline directs you to, then message the chauffeur. We did not find a published map of the oversize points, so follow the signs in your terminal.
When to add a luggage van
Add a second vehicle when:
- The load exceeds what your passenger car is planned for.
- Long items would sit across a rear seat.
- A group of 6 or more travels with equipment cases.
Group needs sit on the van and group transport page. For airport arrivals, see airport transfers. Pets travel under different rules: read the pets guide. The chauffeur car guide and the full fleet list the rest.
Message +971 56 684 8148 with the item list and lengths.
