Who the G80 suits, and who it does not
The G80 suits a passenger who spends the trip in the back seat and wants to run the cabin from there. Its rear bench seats 3 adults. With all 3 seats in use, the 424 L boot takes 2 large suitcases and 1 cabin bag.
That boot is the tightest among the business sedans. A family of 4, or a traveller with 3 large cases, needs the Mercedes V-Class, which seats 6 with 4 large suitcases.
The rear seat, and the option packages
Genesis lists these for the G80. Several need an option package, so partner cars differ.
- Separate second-row climate control.
- Power rear window sunshade, which Genesis describes as shade and privacy for rear passengers.
- Rear controller between the rear seats, for seat position, ventilation, heating and infotainment.
- Rear seats with power recline, heating and ventilation (2nd Row Comfort Package). Ventilated seats help on a summer afternoon in Dubai.
- Two rear monitors on the front seatbacks (Rear Seat Smart Entertainment System).
Ask for the packages you want when you request a quote. The image is a representative Genesis studio image, and the colour of the car supplied may differ.
Jobs the G80 is booked for
- Airport arrivals at Dubai International. The chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall holding your name on a board.

G80, Lexus ES 300h or Audi A6
The Lexus ES 300h is the Assure fleet’s own business sedan, with a slightly larger 454 L boot and a rear window sunshade. It has no separate rear climate zone, which is where the G80 pulls ahead.
The Audi A6 offers four-zone climate as an option and takes 2 cabin bags. For a larger Genesis, the Genesis G90 is the first class model.

Genesis UAE describes a controller between the rear seats that adjusts seat position and angle, rear ventilation and heating, and the infotainment. The heated and ventilated rear seats come with the 2nd Row Comfort Package, which also adds wireless charging in the rear armrest. Partner cars differ in packages, so ask which ones a car has.
