Minibus rental with driver in Dubai

Minibus rental at Assure always includes a driver; nothing is self-drive. Assure's own Mercedes-Benz Sprinter seats 13 or 19 passengers by layout, and the 12-passenger Toyota HiAce and 14-passenger Ford Transit come through our partner network, subject to availability. Book DXB group pickups, transfers or hourly days in Dubai and across the UAE on WhatsApp.

Every minibus on this page is booked with a driver who stays with it for the whole hire. Nobody in your group needs a UAE driving licence, and nobody has to find a space in a mall, venue or airport car park.

A minibus with a chauffeur, not a self-drive van

Search for a 12 or 14-seat van in Dubai and most results are self-drive rentals. Those leave one of your group with the driving, the fuel, the Salik tolls and the parking. Assure is an RTA-licensed chauffeur company and does not hand over keys. The driver plans the route, loads the bags and waits outside while the group is in a meeting, a mall or a venue.

Choosing a size? Compare Toyota Hiace and Coaster and the Mercedes V-Class and Sprinter, or see group arrivals at Dubai airport.

Seats and bags in each minibus

Model Supplied by Passengers Large suitcases Cabin bags Fits best
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 13-seat layout Assure fleet 13 6 6 Airport groups with checked bags
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, 19-seat layout Assure fleet 19 3 6 Hotel-to-venue shuttles with hand luggage
Toyota HiAce Partner network 12 3 6 City days and sightseeing
Ford Transit Bus Partner network 14 3 6 Staff runs and event loops

The bag columns assume every seat is filled. They are Assure’s estimates, not maker figures, and so are the two Sprinter seat counts. When you send the head count, ask which Sprinter layout is free on your date.

The HiAce and the Transit are available through our partner network, subject to availability. Your quote names the model before you confirm, and the minibus fleet page has photos and specs for each one.

What the makers list

  • Toyota HiAce: Toyota UAE sells it as a 13-seater, with a 2.7 L petrol, 2.8 L diesel or 3.5 L petrol engine. Assure lists it for 12 passengers, so check the layout in your quote if a 13th seat matters.
  • Ford Transit Bus: Ford launched the refreshed Transit in the UAE as a 410L medium-roof 15-seater and a 460E high-roof 18-seater. Both use a 2.0 L EcoBlue diesel, and Ford fits overhead storage shelving. Assure lists the Transit for 14 passengers; the high-roof bus seats more, so give your exact head count.

How many people per vehicle?

  • 1 to 7 passengers: a van is enough. The V-Class, Carnival, Staria and SpaceTourer take 6 each, and the partner Vito Tourer 7, on our van and group transport page.
  • 8 to 19 passengers: a minibus from the table above.
  • 20 or more: move up to a Toyota Coaster or a 35 or 50-seat coach through bus rental with driver. These come through our partner network, subject to availability.

Bag-heavy groups can mix vehicles. A 13-seat Sprinter and a V-Class together seat 19 and carry about 10 large suitcases, against 3 in a 19-seat Sprinter alone. The seat and suitcase chart lines up every class side by side.

Group pickups at Dubai airports

Dubai Airports has no pick-up area outside Arrivals, so drivers collecting passengers wait in the terminal car park. Your driver meets the group inside the arrivals hall with the lead passenger’s name on a board, then walks everyone to the minibus. VIP guests in the group are welcomed personally.

  1. Send every flight number with the arrival date, the passenger count and the bag count.
  2. If the group lands on different flights, say so. The quote covers one pickup after the last landing, or a run for each flight.
  3. Your driver follows the real landing times and messages the lead passenger on WhatsApp with the meeting point.

From Dubai International (DXB), Dubai Marina is about 37 km and Expo City Dubai about 52 km by road: roughly 40 and 55 minutes without traffic. From Al Maktoum International (DWC), Dubai Marina is about 32 km. Terminal-by-terminal steps are on the meet-and-greet page for Dubai International.

Can you hire a minibus with a driver for a day?

Yes. Book it by the hour or for a full day, and the driver waits at each stop with the bags and shopping still inside. Three examples:

  • Hatta: about 109 km from central Dubai, roughly 1 hour 25 minutes each way without traffic, with time at Hatta Dam and the heritage village in between.
  • Abu Dhabi: about 139 km between the city centres, around 1 hour 30 minutes. The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Louvre Abu Dhabi fit into one day.
  • Two exhibition venues: Dubai World Trade Centre to Expo City Dubai is about 44 km, so a team covering both keeps one minibus and one driver all day.

Put the start time, the finish time and the stops in your request, because the hours booked set the quote. A party of 3 on the same kind of day can take a car with driver by the hour instead.

Transfers, shuttles and recurring runs

  • One-way and return transfers: hotel to venue, hotel to airport, or Dubai to another emirate.
  • Event shuttles: loops between hotels and a venue, timed to the doors opening and the last act. Dates and venues for the big shows are on our events page.
  • Staff runs: the same route on set days, such as a daily shift change from Al Quoz or Jebel Ali. Recurring contracts sit under staff transport.

Child seats and luggage

The RTA and Dubai Police state that children under 4 must travel in a child seat suited to their weight and height. A child aged 10 or under, or shorter than 145 cm, may not ride in the front. In a minibus, that rules out the passenger seat beside the driver.

  • A child seat fills a passenger seat, so count it in the head count.
  • Mark which passengers are children, with ages and weights. Child seats are fitted on request and named in the quote.
  • Plan for suitcases to ride in the luggage space behind the last row, not in the aisle or on laps.
  • A minibus carries no more people than it has seats. If extra guests join on the day, a second vehicle is needed.

What sets the price of a minibus with driver

There is no fixed price list. Each quote is for the whole vehicle with its driver, sent on WhatsApp, and these factors move it.

Factor What changes
Vehicle and layout A 13 or 19-seat Sprinter, or a partner HiAce or Transit
Distance A 37 km DXB to Dubai Marina run against a 109 km drive to Hatta
Hours A single transfer, an hourly booking or a full day
Time of day Pickups after midnight, early starts and public holidays
Waiting Time beyond what the quote includes, at an airport or a venue
Salik and parking Dubai’s Salik toll gates on the route, and airport, mall or venue car parks
One-way or return A drop-off only, or the minibus bringing the group back
Extra stops Each extra hotel collected on the way

Send the date, the times, the pickup and drop-off, the number of passengers and the number of large suitcases on WhatsApp to +971 56 684 8148. Assure answers 24/7.

What sets the price

Every quote is made for your trip, so no rate card. These are the things it depends on.

Questions and answers

How much does it cost to rent a 14-seater van in Dubai?

Assure prices each booking for the whole vehicle, so there is no per-seat rate or fixed list. The 14-passenger Ford Transit comes through partners, subject to availability, and the 13-seat Sprinter is Assure's own. The figure moves with the hours, the distance, the time of day, waiting, tolls and parking. Send the route, the times and the head count on WhatsApp for a written quote.

How much does it cost to rent a Mercedes Sprinter in Dubai?

It depends on the layout and the job. A 13-seat Sprinter meeting a group at DXB for the 37 km run to Dubai Marina is quoted differently from a 19-seat Sprinter kept for a full exhibition day. Every Sprinter hire includes the driver. Assure sends the price on WhatsApp before you confirm, and it covers the whole vehicle.

Can I hire a van with a driver for a day?

Yes. Minibuses and vans are booked by the hour or for a full day, and the driver stays with the vehicle between stops. Give the start time, the finish time and the places you want to visit. A day in Hatta means about 109 km each way from central Dubai, so the hours you book need to include the drive back.

Can I rent a minibus in Dubai without a driver?

Not from Assure. Assure is an RTA-licensed chauffeur company, and every minibus and van it books comes with a driver for the whole hire. A self-drive rental puts someone from your group behind the wheel and leaves them the fuel, the tolls and the parking.

How many suitcases fit in a 13-seat minibus?

Assure lists its 13-seat Sprinter for 6 large suitcases and 6 cabin bags with every seat taken. The partner HiAce (12 passengers) and Transit (14) are listed for 3 large cases each. If all 13 travellers check a big case, add a van for the luggage: a Mercedes-Benz V-Class takes 4 large cases on its own.

Is the Toyota HiAce a 12 or 13 seater?

Toyota UAE markets the HiAce as a 13-seater. Assure lists the partner HiAce for 12 passengers, the cautious figure, and your quote names the layout of the vehicle you get. If your group is exactly 13, the 13-seat Mercedes-Benz Sprinter from Assure's own fleet is the surer choice, and it has room for 6 large suitcases.

Can one minibus collect a group arriving on different flights?

Yes, if the landings are close together. List every flight number when you book. The quote either covers one pickup after the last flight, with early arrivals waiting in the terminal, or a separate run for each flight. DXB has three terminals, so a group split between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 may suit two smaller vehicles instead.
