What are Global Village’s timings this season?

| Night | Gates open | Gates close | Who may enter |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sunday | 16:00 | midnight | Everyone |
| Monday | 16:00 | midnight | Everyone |
| Tuesday | 16:00 | midnight | Families, couples and ladies, unless it is a public holiday |
| Wednesday | 16:00 | midnight | Everyone |
| Thursday | 16:00 | 1:00 | Everyone |
| Friday | 16:00 | 1:00 | Everyone |
| Saturday | 16:00 | 1:00 | Everyone |
| Public holidays | 16:00 | 1:00 | Everyone, Tuesdays included |
These hours come from the official plan your visit page, checked on 17 October 2026. The header on the home page shows 4pm to 1am without the weekday split. The plan your visit page and the site footer both give the split, so we follow that.

Season 31 dates and holiday nights
Season 31 opened on 14 October 2026 and runs to May 2027. The official site gives no exact closing day yet, so a late-May visit is a gamble until it does. The park closes over the summer between seasons.
Public holidays change three things on the night:
- Closing time moves to 1:00, even on a Sunday to Wednesday.
- The Weekday ticket is not valid, so you need an Any Day ticket.
- The Tuesday rule is lifted, and everyone may enter.
Ramadan falls inside the season. Global Village had not published Ramadan or Eid hours on its site when we checked, so look again on the plan your visit page in the weeks before. Our best time to visit Dubai guide covers the cooler months that the season spans.
Tickets: weekday, any day and free entry
| Ticket | Price on the official site | When it works |
|---|---|---|
| Weekday | AED 25 | Weekdays, not public holidays |
| Any Day | AED 30 | Every night, including weekends and public holidays |
| Free entry | No charge, with ID | Children under 3, seniors above 65, People of Determination with one companion |
Prices include 5% VAT and are per person. Rides at the Carnaval are paid in points, and ride passes, events and WonderPass attractions are sold separately. The ticket terms in full, plus a car there and back, are on our Global Village tickets and transport page. Tickets for other Dubai sights can go on the same booking through our attraction tickets page.
How do you get to Global Village?
Global Village sits off Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), inland from Al Barsha and Downtown.
By car or with a chauffeur
| From | Road distance | Without traffic |
|---|---|---|
| Downtown Dubai | about 26 km | 29 min |
| Dubai Marina | about 26 km | 29 min |
| Palm Jumeirah | about 26 km | 29 min |
| Deira | about 31 km | 32 min |
| Dubai International (DXB) | about 33 km | 34 to 48 min |
| Central Sharjah | about 40 km | 36 min |
| Dubai Miracle Garden | about 11 km | 16 min |
Distances are OSRM averages on OpenStreetMap data, measured on 17 October 2026. From Downtown, the car takes Financial Centre Road and the Dubai to Al Ain Road (E66) onto the E311. From Dubai Marina, it goes inland on King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street and Al Jamayel Street before joining the E311.
By public bus
Four public bus routes run to the park in the season, from about 15:15 to 23:15, with about 30 minutes on board:
| Route | Starts at | Via |
|---|---|---|
| 102 | CentrePoint Metro Station | Direct |
| 103 | Union Metro Station | Al Rebat Street |
| 104 | Al Ghubaiba Bus Station | Max Fashion Metro Station |
| 106 | Mall of the Emirates Metro Station | Stops in Al Barsha and Al Quoz |
For stops and timetables, Global Village gives the number 800 9090.
By taxi or ride-hailing
The official page names Careem, Uber and RTA taxis. Our guide to Uber, Careem or a taxi in Dubai compares the three, and our Dubai taxi fares guide explains the meter.
Is parking free at Global Village, and what is VIP parking?
Some car parks are free and some are paid. Each zone sits at a different distance from one of the three gates.
| Zone | Cost on the official site | Distance to a gate |
|---|---|---|
| VIP Parking | AED 200 a day, free for VIP pack holders | Not stated |
| Paid Parking | AED 120 a day | Not stated |
| Paid Parking 2 | AED 75 a day | About 350 m to Happiness Gate |
| P1 and P3 | Free | About 400 m to Gate of the World |
| P5 | Free | About 450 m to Gate of the World |
| P7 to P11 | Free, open on weekends, public holidays and busy days | About 1 km to Cultural Gate, with a free shuttle bus or a rickshaw from AED 10 |
| Parking A | For A sticker holders | Not stated |
| POD Parking | No fee listed | On Al Khawaneej Road, opposite Arabian Center |
| Al Fursan | No fee listed | On Al Ouds Street, opposite the Emirates Engineering building |
The page lists no dedicated drop-off lane. With a chauffeur, you name the gate, the car stops there and you walk straight in. People of Determination have reserved parking, accessible toilets and wheelchair-friendly access to the attractions.

When to go: the quietest nights and the crowd peaks
Global Village publishes no crowd figures. Its own parking rules show when it expects the biggest crowds: the far car parks, P7 to P11, open only on weekends, public holidays and busy days.
- Sunday to Wednesday are the shorter nights, closing at midnight, and the Weekday ticket covers them unless a public holiday falls on one.
- Tuesday narrows entry to families, couples and ladies.
- Thursday to Saturday run to 1:00, which gives the longest evening but brings the overflow car parks into use.
- Arriving at 16:00 gives you the first part of the evening in daylight.
What is new this season
On 17 October 2026, the official home page tagged six things as new for Season 31:
| New this season | Type | Detail on the site |
|---|---|---|
| Arabian Horses | Family ride | A double-decker carousel, 120 cm height listed, 10 points |
| Athens Slingshot | Thrill ride | 140 cm height listed, 30 points |
| Egypt Show | Show | Main Stage |
| Hello GSA | Show | Kids’ Theatre |
| Bollywood Workshop | Show | Kids’ Theatre |
| Retumbar | Show | Roaming performers |
The park lists 29 themed pavilions and more than 90 cultures. Show times change daily and appear on the site and in the Global Village app.
Leaving at closing time without the taxi queue
The last buses leave at about 23:15. The gates close at midnight or 1:00, so after 23:15 everyone still inside needs a taxi, a ride-hail car or their own car.
Three ways to avoid hunting for a ride at closing time:
- Leave before 23:00, while the buses still run.
- Book a set return time with a chauffeur at a named gate, such as 22:30 at Gate of the World.
- Keep the car waiting for the hours you book, so you can leave early with tired children.
For evenings like this, our car with driver by the hour keeps one car for the night. The difference between a set return and an hourly booking is explained in our hourly or transfer chauffeur guide. Lost and Found sits near Gate of the World, and children can wear a free wristband from guest services.
Pair it with Miracle Garden or an arrival at DXB
Dubai Miracle Garden is 11 km from Global Village, about 16 minutes on the E311. The garden opens in the daytime and Global Village at 16:00, so one car covers both: flowers in the afternoon, pavilions in the evening. Our Miracle Garden tickets page has the garden’s hours.

Global Village is about 33 km from Dubai International (DXB). Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall with your name on a board, drops the bags at your hotel and goes on to the park.
For a full day out rather than an evening, see our day trips from Dubai guide.
