Assure is RTA licensed in Dubai, so any trip that leaves Dubai runs in our own car with our own chauffeur. That covers a transfer to a Fujairah hotel, a day on the east coast, or a drive to Dibba with the car waiting.

We have not confirmed in writing which Fujairah body licenses a visiting operator for local trips. So we do not promise an Assure car for a pickup inside the emirate. Ask us to confirm your route and we reply before you book.

Driving between Fujairah and Dubai

Fujairah sits on the Gulf of Oman, so the road to Dubai crosses the Hajar Mountains. The Fujairah to Masafi road and Sheikh Khalifa Street are the two links that Fujairah Tourism lists to Sharjah and Dubai. Once through the mountains, the road joins Dubai’s highways.

Fujairah International Airport (FJR)

The airport is about 3 km by road from Fujairah city centre, around 5 minutes without traffic. Scheduled service is limited. The airport announced daily IndiGo flights from Mumbai and Kannur from 15 May 2025, and charter flights also use it.

Your chauffeur follows the flight and waits in the arrivals hall with your name on a board. FJR pickups are arranged on request, so send your flight number early. Terminal details and drive times from the airport are on our Fujairah Airport transfers page.

Where we collect and drop guests

• Fujairah city and the corniche. Hotels and homes around the city, with the corniche, the fort and the mosques close by.
• Al Aqah. The beach resorts sit on the Dibba road. The Fujairah Rotana Resort and Spa is on Dibba Road at Al Aqah Beach, 43 km north of Fujairah city and 14 km south of Dibba, according to the hotel.
• Dibba Al Fujairah. The northern town, and the usual start for Musandam day trips.
• Neighbouring Khor Fakkan and Kalba. Both belong to Sharjah, not Fujairah. We drive to them, but they are Sharjah’s, so ask us about pickups there.

Tours, sights and events nearby

Fujairah’s main sights are small and close to each other. The Heritage Village Museum in Madhab, established in 1996, shows traditional houses and tools. Fujairah Fort stands on a hill with three round towers and one square tower, and Al Bithnah Fort, built in 1735, is about 13 km from the city.

North of the city, Al Bidya Mosque is about 35 km up the Dibba road. Wadi Wurayah, a protected area of 192 square kilometres, is about 42 km north of Fujairah. Wadi Ham, the longest wadi in the UAE, runs about 30 km from Masafi to its dam.

Fujairah Tourism lists a National Day celebration every 2 December and the Fujairah International Marathon. It gives no fixed date for the marathon, so check the organiser before you plan around it. Road closures can affect event days, and your chauffeur plans around them.

How to book a chauffeur in Fujairah

1. Send the date, the pickup address and the time you need to arrive, on WhatsApp at +971 56 684 8148 or in the trip form.
2. For a one-way run, name the drop-off district or hotel. For a day hire, give the hours and the stops.
3. Count guests and large bags: a sedan takes 3 guests and 2 bags, a Mercedes V-Class 6 guests and 4 bags.
4. For an FJR arrival, include the flight number. A pickup that starts in Fujairah needs a partner car, which we confirm before you get the quote.
5. Reply to the quote on WhatsApp to lock in the booking.
