Ras Al Khaimah has its own rules. Resolution No. 3 of 2021 gives the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) the job of regulating passenger transport by luxury vehicles and limousines. It sets permits for companies and for limousine drivers. The published text we could check does not say how those permits apply to a company from another emirate. So we treat any pickup inside Ras Al Khaimah as a partner job and confirm the car before you book.

Ras Al Khaimah city sits around Al Qawasim Corniche, with Al Qassimi Palace and the National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah nearby. From the city, the airport is about 24 km and 22 minutes away without traffic.

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RKT)

RKT has separate Arrival and Departure terminals. Your chauffeur waits at the Arrival Terminal with your name on a board, and VIP guests are welcomed personally. RKT pickups are arranged on request, so send your flight number early. The airport lists metered taxis from the Arrivals hall and a free shuttle bus to stops in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain. A private car goes door to door. Jebel Jais, Dhayah Fort and other places worth the drive

Ras Al Khaimah is close to the mountains, so a day with a waiting chauffeur works well here.

Jebel Jais. The summit stands at 1,934 m, about 49 km and 56 minutes from the city without traffic. Visit Jebel Jais lists a paved road suitable for normal cars and the 2.83 km Jais Flight zipline. Our Jebel Jais day trip covers the route and the activities.

Dhayah Fort. Visit Ras Al Khaimah calls it the only hill fort remaining in the UAE. The fort dates from the 19th century and a path of 239 steps leads up. The path is uneven and unlit, so go in daylight. It is not suitable for prams or wheelchairs.

Al Jazirah Al Hamra. This old pearling village had about 500 houses around 1900. Its residents left between 1968 and 1971. It is an open-air site without staff, and many buildings are unsafe, so look from the paths and visit in daylight.

Al Wadi desert. South of the city, the dunes suit an evening out. Our desert safari in Ras Al Khaimah starts from your hotel.

A booked limousine is a set car, a set chauffeur and a pickup time agreed in advance. From Dubai, a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or BMW 7 Series carries 3 guests, and a Cadillac Escalade 6. How to book a chauffeur in Ras Al Khaimah

1. Send the date, the pickup address and the time you need to arrive, on WhatsApp at +971 56 684 8148 or in the trip form.
2. Name the resort or district, such as Al Marjan Island or Al Hamra, and the drop-off in Dubai or Abu Dhabi. For a day hire, give the hours instead.
3. Count guests and large bags: a sedan takes 3 guests and 2 bags, a Mercedes-Benz V-Class 6 guests and 4 bags.
4. For an RKT arrival, include the flight number. A pickup that starts in Ras Al Khaimah needs a partner car, which we confirm before the quote.
5. Reply to the quote on WhatsApp to lock in the booking.
