When is wedding season in Dubai?
The main season is November to March. The airport’s mean daytime high is 30.7°C in November, 26.5°C in December and 24.4°C in January, so an evening ceremony outdoors is comfortable. These are 1991 to 2020 normals.
October and April are the shoulder months. Both work for a hotel wedding with a short outdoor part. May to September is the indoor season, planned around ballroom air conditioning and short walks from the car to the door.
Month by month: temperature and sunset
Sunset times are for the 15th of each month, computed from the NOAA solar formulae. Highs and lows are for Dubai International Airport.

| March | 28.9°C | 18.6°C | 18:28 | Outdoor |
| April | 33.7°C | 22.3°C | 18:41 | Outdoor after sunset |
| May | 38.2°C | 26.1°C | 18:56 | Indoor with short outdoor photos |
| June | 40.0°C | 28.0°C | 19:10 | Indoor |

Humidity peaks on summer nights near the coast. Our Dubai weather by month guide has the rain and sea temperature as well.
Can you get married during Ramadan?
We could not confirm a legal rule against it, and we are not a registrar. What changes is the day itself. Venues and hotels set their own rules for music, food and events, and the roads fill in the hour before iftar. Ask the venue and your registrar before you choose the date.
Ramadan follows the lunar calendar and moves about 11 days earlier each year. The Umm al-Qura estimate is 18 February to 19 March 2026, and 8 February to 8 March 2027. Dates are confirmed by moon sighting and can differ by a day. Read Ramadan in Dubai for visitors for how the city runs that month.
Eid and public holidays: traffic and demand
The UAE government lists Eid Al Fitr (1 to 3 Shawwal, 4 days), Arafah Day (9 Dhu Al Hijjah), Eid Al Adha (10 to 12 Dhu Al Hijjah, 3 days), the Hijri New Year, the Prophet’s Birthday, New Year’s Day and National Day on 2 and 3 December. Islamic dates are set by moon sighting.
For a wedding, a holiday means longer weekends, guests travelling in and out, and busier hotel entrances. We could not source holiday pricing, so ask venues and suppliers how a holiday date changes their terms. The UAE public holidays guide lists them for the year.
Summer weddings: what changes for cars and guests
Summer means the car is the only place outdoors that guests control. Plan it:

- Pickup: the driver cools the car before the couple arrives.
- Photos: book them at 6:30 pm or later in June and July, when sunset is after 19:00.
- Flowers: use heat-tolerant stems on the car, see wedding car decoration.
- Guests: use a minibus or van between a hotel and the venue so nobody waits in the heat.
Hotel entrances do the rest. See Dubai in summer for how visitors cope.
Which big events fill hotels and roads?
Large events fill the same hotels and roads that weddings use. We did not source individual event dates for this page. Check the Dubai and UAE events calendar and the organisers’ official pages before you fix a date.

If your guests fly in, give them an airport transfer plan from day one, using the destination wedding guest travel plan.
How far ahead should you book?
We could not source booking lead times for Dubai wedding dates. The safe rule is to book the venue first, then ask for car quotes the same week, because peak Friday and Saturday evenings carry several weddings at once. For anything beyond our own cars, partners supply vehicles when they are free.
Once the date is fixed, work out the day with the wedding day transport timeline. For Palm venues, read the Palm Jumeirah arrival guide. Start at the wedding transport hub or ask about wedding car hire and our limousine service.
