How much does a wedding car cost in Dubai? What sets the price

A chauffeur-driven wedding car in Dubai is priced by the model, the hours from first pickup to last drop-off, and the date. Decoration, waiting between venues, legs to other emirates, Salik tolls and parking move it further. Assure does not publish a wedding price list: each booking is quoted in writing on WhatsApp, answered 24/7.

What makes up the price of a wedding car in Dubai?

How much a wedding car costs in Dubai comes down to this: a quote is a car, a chauffeur and a block of time, plus the costs that the day’s route adds. This table shows what each part covers.

Factor What it covers How it moves the quote
The model S-Class or BMW 7 Series from our fleet, or a Rolls-Royce, Bentley or Maybach from a partner The biggest single factor
The hours From the first pickup to the last drop-off, waiting included More hours, higher figure
The date Cool season, weekends, public holidays, big events Busy dates leave fewer cars free
Decoration Ribbons, flowers, the florist’s time with the car Extra time and materials
Other emirates Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, the return leg Distance and the empty run back
Tolls and parking Salik in Dubai, Darb in Abu Dhabi, venue and airport car parks Added at cost or included, as the quote states
Extra stops Photo locations, a second pickup Time and distance

The chauffeur’s time is part of every hour booked. Ask whether fuel is inside the figure for long legs to other emirates.

Hourly block, half day or full day: which suits a wedding?

Work out the span from the plan, then book the block that covers it. Here are three shapes, with their hours.

  1. The arrival. Pickup in Downtown, a ceremony at Madinat Jumeirah about 15 km away, photos nearby, then the car is released. About 3 hours.
  2. Ceremony and reception at one venue. The car stays for the couple’s exit after dinner. From a 15:00 pickup to a 23:00 drop-off, that is 8 hours.
  3. Two venues and a late exit. A morning nikkah, an evening reception elsewhere and a drive home after midnight. Often more than 10 hours.

UAE labour rules allow 8 normal working hours a day plus up to 2 hours of overtime. So for a day longer than 10 hours, ask whether a second chauffeur takes over for the late runs.

A one-way transfer is the shortest option of all: the car drops the bride at the venue and leaves. Our guide on hourly hire or a fixed transfer compares the two in more detail.

How much more is a Rolls-Royce than a Mercedes S-Class?

Enough that it can shape the whole budget. The gap comes from three places:

  • Who owns the car. The S-Class and BMW 7 Series are in Assure’s own fleet. The Rolls-Royce Ghost, Phantom and Cullinan come through our partner network, subject to availability, at the partner’s rate.
  • Minimum hours. Each partner sets a minimum booking for its Rolls-Royce, and that minimum can be longer than your arrival needs.
  • Demand on the date. A partner car booked for an afternoon wedding may not be free for your evening, so ask early for peak dates.

Ask for both cars quoted side by side for the same hours. The ultra-luxury and exotic fleet page lists every partner model, and our guide on how to choose a wedding car weighs them for the dress.

Peak dates: wedding season, weekends and public holidays

  • The cool season. NOAA’s readings at Dubai International average highs of about 26 to 32°C from November to March, against 41 to 43°C from June to September. Outdoor ceremonies suit the cool months, so ask early for a date in that season.
  • National Day. The holiday falls on 2 and 3 December, with celebrations on the roads.
  • Eid holidays. Eid Al Fitr and Eid Al Adha follow the moon, so their dates are set close to the time.
  • Dubai Shopping Festival. It runs from 4 December 2026 to 17 January 2027, which keeps hotels and roads busy.
  • New Year’s Eve. Emaar allows no vehicles into Downtown Dubai once the road closures start, so a Downtown wedding that night needs an early arrival.

Sunday has no Salik peak: gates charge AED 4 all day except the free night hours, unless the day is a public holiday or an event day. Check your date against our Dubai and UAE events calendar before you fix it.

Extras that change the quote: decoration, waiting time, other emirates and Salik

Decoration

Whoever owns the car decides what can go on it. Fresh flowers fitted at the pickup point add the florist’s time to the booking, so the car arrives earlier.

Waiting time

In an hourly booking, the car waits as part of the block. A ceremony that runs 40 minutes late uses 40 minutes of your hours, not extra money, as long as the block has room.

Other emirates

Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi is about 146 km from Downtown Dubai, around 1 hour 35 minutes without traffic. Ras Al Khaimah city is about 109 km. If the car is released there, it still drives back to Dubai empty, and that leg is part of the price.

Abu Dhabi has its own tolls. The Darb gates charge AED 4 per crossing from 7 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday. The Ghantoot gate on the coast road from Dubai charges AED 4 at any hour since 4 May 2026.

Salik

Each Dubai gate charges AED 6 per pass from 6 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 8 pm, Monday to Saturday, and AED 4 from 10 am to 4 pm and 8 pm to 1 am. From DXB Terminal 1 to Dubai Marina, the fastest route passes 3 charges: AED 18 at the evening peak, or AED 12 off-peak. Small amounts, but a day of loops adds up. Our Salik toll guide names every gate.

Deposits, cancellation and overtime: what to get in writing

Before you pay anything, get these in writing:

  • The car, its colour and a named second choice.
  • The start time, the end time and the rate for each extra hour.
  • Whether Salik, Darb, parking and decoration are inside the figure.
  • The deposit, when the balance is due, and the cancellation terms.
  • What happens if the car is unavailable on the day.

If VAT is charged, the invoice must say “Tax Invoice” and show the supplier’s TRN and the tax. A business without a TRN may not charge VAT at all.

Check the operator too. A company running chauffeur cars in Dubai needs an RTA permit, and our guide to what an RTA limousine licence means explains what it covers.

How to spend less on a wedding car

  1. Book the arrival, not the evening. Release the car after the photos and book a short second slot for the exit.
  2. Mix the models. Give the bride the Rolls-Royce and the groom an S-Class from our own fleet.
  3. Give each car two jobs. The groom’s car can collect the parents after its first run.
  4. Move guests by coach. One 50-seat coach replaces 17 sedans for 50 guests. See our coach rental options.
  5. Keep venues close. Downtown to Madinat Jumeirah is about 15 km; Downtown to Emirates Palace is nearly ten times that.
  6. Ask about quieter dates. A weekday, or a date outside December, can leave more partner cars free.

Why Assure quotes on WhatsApp instead of listing one price

A single price would be wrong for most bookings. The same Rolls-Royce costs a different amount for a 3-hour Tuesday arrival and a 10-hour December Saturday. So Assure quotes each wedding from the plan you send.

Send the date, the venues, the timings, the car and the guest numbers on WhatsApp at +971 56 684 8148. The reply is a written quote that lists the car, the hours and what is included. It comes back in the same chat, 24/7. For chauffeur pricing beyond weddings, see our guide to what a chauffeur costs in Dubai, or book a car with driver by the hour for the days around the wedding.

The wedding car hire page lists every car on offer, and the wedding transport planning guide covers family cars, guest shuttles and airport pickups. Our limousine service quotes the same cars this way for anniversaries and other evenings.

Questions and answers

How much does it cost for a wedding car in Dubai?

There is no single figure, because three things set most of it: the model, the hours booked and the date. A Mercedes-Benz S-Class from our own fleet for a 3-hour arrival costs far less than a partner Rolls-Royce kept from lunch to midnight on National Day. Send the car, the date and the timings on WhatsApp, and Assure replies with a written quote for that day.

How much is it to rent a Rolls-Royce for 3 hours?

It depends on the model, the partner's minimum hours and the date, so ask for a quote on the exact day. Check first that 3 hours covers the job. A Downtown pickup, a ceremony at Madinat Jumeirah and photos nearby fill 3 hours. A ceremony in Abu Dhabi does not, since Emirates Palace alone is about 1 hour 35 minutes each way without traffic.

How much is limousine hire per day for a wedding?

A wedding day is quoted as one block, from the first pickup to the last drop-off, rather than a fixed day rate. A ceremony and reception at one venue, from a 15:00 pickup to a 23:00 drop-off, is 8 hours. UAE labour rules allow a driver 8 normal hours plus up to 2 of overtime a day, so for a longer day, ask whether a second chauffeur takes over.

Is Salik included in a wedding car quote?

Ask, because companies differ. A Salik gate charges AED 6 per pass from 4 pm to 8 pm on weekdays, right across a typical ceremony and reception, and AED 4 at most other hours. On the fastest route from DXB Terminal 1 to Dubai Marina, a car passes 3 charges. Assure's quote states whether tolls are inside the figure.

Do I pay for the time the car waits during the ceremony?

Yes, in an hourly booking the waiting is part of the hours. That is what keeps the car at the door when the ceremony ends. If you do not need the car between events, book it for the arrival only and a second slot for the exit. Two short blocks can cost less than one long one, so ask for both options.

Why does a wedding car cost more than a taxi?

It is required to. RTA's permit conditions for passenger transport by luxury motor vehicles set the tariff above the taxi tariff. The difference buys a reserved car of your choice, a named chauffeur who waits for you, and a price agreed before the day. A taxi meter also runs on in wedding traffic, while a quote fixes the price for the agreed hours.

How can I make wedding car hire cheaper in Dubai?

Book fewer hours, not a cheaper car. Keep the car for the arrival and the photos, then release it. Put the groom and the parents in an S-Class or Escalade from our own fleet, move guests by coach instead of in cars, and choose venues close together. A weekday date outside the cool season can also leave more cars free.
