Partner models are available through our partner network, subject to availability. Our wedding car hire page shows how to request one for your date. Outside weddings, the same cars run on our limousine service by the hour.
How many people and how much dress have to fit?
Count bodies first. A sedan with 3 rear seats takes 3 guests in suits, but only the bride and one person once a full skirt fills the bench. A cathedral train needs the whole rear seat.
Then count the people who must arrive with the bride. A father or escort rides beside her. A bridesmaid holding the train needs her own seat, so she goes in the second car.
Every passenger wears a seat belt. The federal schedule lists AED 400 and 4 black points for each unfastened belt, and the bride is no exception. Children ride in the rear: a child under 10, or shorter than 145 cm, may not sit in front.
For the seat and suitcase limits of each model, see our chauffeur car seats and luggage chart.
Sedan, SUV or van: what works at a hotel drop-off?
A hotel porte-cochère takes a sedan or an SUV without trouble. The question is what happens in the 30 seconds after the car stops.

- Sedan. The bride steps down to the forecourt, with the door held open. The S-Class is a long-wheelbase body, so the rear bench has more legroom than a standard sedan.
- SUV. The floor sits higher, so the bride steps down rather than out. The Cullinan lowers itself by 40 mm for entry, which closes some of that gap. In an Escalade or Yukon, ask about the step, and offer a hand at the elbow.
- Van. Sliding doors open without swinging into the kerb or a pillar. That suits a narrow forecourt, grandparents and children. Our vans with driver page lists the V-Class and larger options.
Ask the venue’s events team where the bride’s car stops. Some ballroom entrances sit at a side door, away from the main lobby.
Does the colour matter in photos?
Colour matters most against the decoration. White ribbons and white roses disappear on a white bonnet, while the same flowers stand out on black or silver.
Colour also changes the heat inside. A dark car parked in the July sun warms up faster than a white one, so a black car needs longer with the air conditioning on before pickup.
The colour comes with the car on your date. If the photographs depend on a white Rolls-Royce, put the colour in the first message, because a different model may be the only white car free.
Air conditioning and tinted glass: the July test
NOAA’s daily readings at Dubai International average a 42°C high and a 33°C low in July. August is a degree hotter by day. A wedding car in those months has to be cold before the bride gets in, not on the way.
- Ask for the car to arrive early, with the cabin already cooled, especially after the florist has had the doors open.
- Separate rear climate zones help. The S-Class offers 4-zone climate control with separate rear zones as an option. Ask whether the car on offer has it.
- Privacy without dark glass. The Bentley Flying Spur has one-touch rear blinds, which shade the bride without extra window film.
Window tint is capped by law. The federal schedule lists AED 1,500 for exceeding the permitted percentage, and Abu Dhabi Police impound for a month a car whose windscreen or driver’s window has been coloured. Plan privacy around blinds and the route, not darker glass.
From November to March, average highs drop to about 26 to 32°C. A sunroof or an open door for photos becomes comfortable then.
Bride’s car, groom’s car and family cars: matching or not?
Matching cars only appear side by side at the entrance, and in that photo colour shows more than the model.

One way to split a mixed budget:
- The bride’s car: a Rolls-Royce or Maybach from the partner network.
- The groom’s car: a Mercedes-Benz S-Class or BMW 7 Series from our fleet. Our S-Class and 7 Series comparison sets out the differences in the rear cabin.
- The family car: a Cadillac Escalade or GMC Yukon with 6 seats, so parents arrive together.
The first class sedans page lists the groom’s options, and the luxury SUV fleet covers the family cars. If cost decides the split, our guide to wedding car costs explains what moves a quote.
Cars that suit a big dress: door width, rear legroom and step height
Manufacturers do not publish door-opening widths or step heights for these cars, and we have not measured them. Judge them on these features instead:

- Rolls-Royce Ghost. The rear door opens with power assistance from one pull of the handle. It closes automatically at a button on the outside handle, so the chauffeur shuts it without touching the train. An umbrella sits in the door for the rare rainy day.
- Rolls-Royce Cullinan. It lowers itself by 40 mm for entry and rises again when the engine starts. The coach doors wrap low under the sill, so the hem does not drag over a dirty step. Choose the Lounge Seats layout for 3 rear passengers, or Individual Seats for 2 with a fixed console between them.
- Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Power rear comfort doors open and close on their own. The rear seats recline up to 43 degrees, which helps a bride with a stiff bodice sit back.
- Mercedes-Benz V-Class. A sliding door leaves the whole opening clear without swinging out. Mercedes offers electric doors as an option, opening at a button.
Ask for a photo of the rear door open on the exact car, with someone standing beside it for scale. For how these cars sit among other chauffeur classes, read our guide to types of limousine cars in Dubai.
What to confirm before you choose
- The model, year and colour of the car on your date.
- The rear seat layout, if it is a Cullinan.
- Whether the car has separate rear climate control.
- Where the car stops at each venue, and who opens the door.
- What decoration the owner allows on that car.
- The second choice, if the first is taken.
For the whole plan, from the couple’s car to guest coaches and airport pickups, start with our wedding transport planning guide. The ultra-luxury and exotic fleet page lists every partner model with its seats and boot.
