Who signs a corporate chauffeur contract?

Companies that need one or more chauffeur-driven cars on working days sign this contract. Typical cases are a managing director’s daily car, a pool for visiting partners, or a meetings fleet for a regional headquarters. The cars run in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah.

Your car comes from the Assure fleet or our partner network, confirmed when you book. Partner cars are available through our partner network, subject to availability.

Assure has been operating for 10+ years from Al Garhoud, about 3 km from Dubai International Terminal 3. The contract is signed once. Named bookers then send trips on WhatsApp or by phone, and you receive one monthly invoice.

What does a corporate chauffeur contract state?

Assure’s standard contract terms cover each item below. The proposal fills in the details for your company, and you agree it in writing before day one.

Which tolls apply to a contract car?

Dubai’s Salik gates and Abu Dhabi’s Darb gates charge per crossing. Salik moved to variable pricing on 31 January 2025, so the charge depends on the time of day. The Darb gate at Ghantoot on Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Street operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, since 4 May 2026.

A day that runs between Dubai and Abu Dhabi therefore passes both systems. Agree in the contract whether tolls sit inside the monthly price or are passed on at cost with the trip log. Parking while the car waits follows the same rule.

How many hours can one chauffeur work?

Article 17 of Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 sets normal private-sector working time at 8 hours a day or 48 hours a week. Overtime is allowed up to 2 hours a day, according to the UAE Government portal. This limits what one contract chauffeur can cover.

• 8 hours a day, 5 days: 40 hours, inside the normal week.
• 8 hours a day, 6 days: 48 hours, the full normal week.
• 10 hours a day: 2 hours of overtime every day, the daily maximum.
• 12 hours a day: more than one chauffeur can cover alone. Plan a second chauffeur or a split shift, and state it in the contract.

How far do contract cars travel in a working day?

A dedicated car in Dubai spends most of the day on short hops between districts. Days that reach Abu Dhabi or Ras Al Khaimah add long legs. These are road distances and drive times without traffic, from OSRM routing on OpenStreetMap, checked on 25 October 2026. Weekday peaks add time.

How do project teams use a contract?

Consulting firms and multinationals often need cars for a fixed project, not for a year. A pool of 2 to 4 cars can serve a team through a client engagement, with the contract term matched to the project. Regional headquarters usually keep one dedicated car for the senior executive and add pool cars when partners fly in.

How does onboarding work, from RFQ to day one?

1. Send the request. List the cars, car class, days, hours, cities and start date. The form on this page goes to the Assure desk on WhatsApp.
2. Receive a proposal. It sets out the cars, the model, the term and the price basis, with the contract items above filled in.
3. Share your vendor details. Procurement can ask for the documents it needs in its vendor registration form. Tell us the list, and we confirm what Assure supplies.
4. Agree and sign. Replacement car, leave cover, overtime, tolls, notice period and invoice format are written into the contract.
5. Name your bookers. Give us the people who may send trips, and any matter or cost-centre codes for the invoice.
6. Day one. The chauffeur arrives at the agreed place and time with the agreed car. The desk is on WhatsApp and phone 24/7.
